Two years later we made the move to our present address, 35 The Headrow, where we have remained ever since. I have described listening to this version as being similar to listening to a recent Pink Floyd reissue or Nine Inch Nails vinyl remaster.

But honestly I’m just glad they decided not to do stupid picture discs like they did with Lateralus. The sound is so unbelievably rich and being a huge fan of Danny Carey, there are sounds from him I can hear on vinyl i could never hear on mp3 or cd. My previoulsy purchased copies of Undertow and Opiate were underwhelming, particularly given that I generally have appreciated early punk rock tool more than later prog rock Tool. On the downside while comparing editions, the new book release has only 7 tracks as opposed to 10 on the deluxe original, which admittedly are only short interludes but to me complete the record as a listening experience.Opiate ² is a special limited-edition package, that includes a reimagined and extended version of the TOOL classic track. The included art and etchings on the reverse of the albums look great but doubt it is something I would display.

Tool members include drummer Danny Carey, guitarist Adam Jones, bassist Justin Chancellor and vocalist Maynard James Keenan. Bonus features include insight and observation from special guests, and this Blu-ray disc comes in a special 46 page hardcover art book that includes behind the scenes and making of photos.

It might even be better than Lateralus, but I'll reserve judgement until I've lived with it for a couple of months. Upon first play through you probably won't feel gratified but with patience and commitment you'll realise that this album is an absolute modern masterpiece and extremely satisfying, I really can't emphasise this enough!

Curated by musicians and music lovers like Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Famer Matt Sorum, Experience Vinyl is the vinyl club without the commitment. Don't get me wrong, I have the original deluxe edition which is gorgeous, but the book edition is simply far more a convenient presentation for the shelf and regular use.Fifth studio album ' Fear Inoculum' is another set of baroque, stadium-sized prog-metal from The Thinking Man’s Primus. Due to inventory and accounting purposes, we do not exchange items received for different items than originally purchased. This package features five 180 Gram BLACK vinyl discs, with album tracks featured on Side A, and unique etchings featured on Side B. Note: These vinyls are hand signed by Alex Grey on the cover OR the upper side of the vinyl itself; original packaging comes opened. Thing is, you see, Tool have been away for so long now that we’d assumed them consigned to history - it’s been thirteen years since they released ' 10,000 Days', you know.

The presentation and packaging is also done well, it’s almost like an art book, a little over the top but that's Tool. There is an EU release that credits Sony Music as a label and other differences of distribution listed on the small print of the sticker. They're still masters of odd time signatures and 10+ minute songs but other than that, it was tough to find anything that really stood out to me while listening.Photos I have attached are the actual artwork of the album , the portrait one in the description is the only one that is the correct one in this release .
